Vasishta N. Simha was born in Ramanathapura, Hassan, Karnataka, on October 19, 1988. He went to Mysore’s Sharada Vilas Education Institute for his primary education and then to Sadvidya School for his secondary education. Later, he went to Basavanagudi’s National Degree College in Bengaluru so he could get a bachelor’s degree in computer applications. He liked the theatre and the music business all his life. From a young age, he loved being on stage and making music.

In 2011, Vasishta quit his job as a software engineer and decided to become an actor in Kannada movies. He has worked on the movie Hubballi Hudagaru, which has not yet been released. His first movie to be shown in theatres was Arya’s Love. This was his debut (2013). In Raja Huli (2013), a remake of the Tamil film Sundarapandian, he got his big break when he played the main bad guy (2012). His next role was in the 2014 movie Rudra Tandava, which was a remake of the Tamil movie Pandiya Naadu (2013).

Later, Vasishta and Nikesha Patel were both in the movie Alone, which was made in several languages and was directed by JKS. Puneeth Arya directed the 2013 Kannada movie “Arya’s Love,” which was Vasishta N. Simha’s first role. Then he was in Guru Deshpande’s remake of the Tamil movie Sundarapandian, “Raja Huli.” Vasishta N. Simha, Yash, and Meghana Raj played the main bad guy in the movie.
