Sundar C has worked extensively in the film industry, both behind the camera and on the big screen. Last seen with Jai in Khushby Sundar and Badri’s Pattampoochi, which he also acted in. Even though Jiiva, Sriram, and Jai were all featured in Sundar C’s most recent film as director, Coffee With Kadhal, the film was a commercial failure. According to VZ Dhorai, who provided a more in-depth summary of the film, this is not a sequel to the film Thalai Nagaram, which was released in 2006. The film’s ensemble cast consisted of three protagonists and four antagonists, as the plot needed, but Right remained constant throughout. The film also features Yogi Babu. His most recent successful film appearance was in the romantic comedy Love Today.
Music for the next film Thalai Nagaram 2 is being composed by Gibran, who previously composed the score for the highly anticipated album and smash single “Chill Chilla” from the Thala Ajith film Thunivu. On top of Thunivu, Gibran is producing another dozen or so films in a variety of languages. When Driver Jamuna premieres on Netflix on December 30, 2022, it will be his final film.
