Sriram Raghavan Education

In 2004, Sriram made the suspenseful movie Ek Hasina Thi. He got his degree from FTII. Ram Gopal Varma liked the director’s last movie, which was called Raman Raghav. Sriram wrote and directed the movie, which starred Urmila Matondkar and Saif Ali Khan. Sarika, played by Urmila Matondkar, is the main character in Ek Hasina Thi. She is a woman who wants to get back at the people who messed up her life, especially Karan (Saif Ali Khan). Kavita Kaushik, Aditya Srivastava, and Seema Biswas all played important parts in the movie.
After taking a three-year break from thrillers, Sriram returned to the genre in 2007 with the movie Johnny Gaddaar, which starred Neil Nitin Mukesh, Dharmendra, Zakir Hussain, Rimi Sen, Vinay Pathak, and Ashwini Kalsekar. Everyone was surprised by how well the movie did at the box office and with critics. Both Unnam in Malayalam and Kamina in Telugu are different versions of the same story. Neil Nitin Mukesh was nominated for Stardust Superstar of Tomorrow Male and Star Screen Award for Most Promising Newcomer Male. He won the Filmfare Award for Best Sound Design and the Star Guild Award for Best Actor in a Negative Role.
Sriram’s first movie as a director was Agent Vinod, which came out the next year. It starred Saif Ali Khan, Kareena Kapoor, Prem Chopra, Adil Hussain, Ravi Kishan, and Ram Kapoor. In the movie, an agent goes on a secret mission to look into the death of a colleague, but he is shocked to find a huge plot. People were looking forward to seeing the movie Agent Vinod because it had good music, but both critics and audiences were disappointed when it turned out to be bad.
In 2016, the directors put out the movie. Badlapur stands out as the best thing he’s ever done, even though many of his other works have also been praised. Along with Varun Dhawan and Nawazuddin Siddiqui, the stars of this action thriller were Huma Qureshi, Yami Gautam, Vinay Pathak, Divya Dutta, and Radhika Apte.
The movie did pretty well at the box office and got good reviews for its story about a man who wants revenge for the death of his family. Critics gave the movie high marks and said that the story was great and that the actors did a great job. Overall, the movie was nominated for 15 Stardust Awards, and it won Best Film at the 61st Filmfare Awards. Shor Se Shuruaat, a collection of seven short films made by Sriram, came out in 2016.
