She also has a Bachelor of Technology degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Jain University in Bangalore. As an NCC cadet, Srinidhi often took part in campus fashion shows when she was a student. Srinidhi quit her job at Accenture and went on to compete in several beauty pageants. Her father agreed with her decision to become a model.

She was trying to win one of the top five spots in the 2012 Clean & Clear Fresh Face competition. Srinidhi won the crowns for Miss South India, Miss Karnataka, and Miss Beautiful Smile at the 2015 Mannapuram Beauty Pageant. She ran for the title of Mannapuram Miss Queen and came in second.
