Ronit Roy Early Life
Ronit Bose Roy, the son of Dolly Bose Roy and Brothindranath Roy, was born on October 11, 1965, in Nagpur. However, he spent most of his early years in Ahmedabad, Gujarat. Roy’s early sponsor, the veteran director Subhash Ghai, told him to start his career as a management trainee at Mumbai’s Sea Rock Hotel. Roy was in a number of movies in the 1990s, but he never made a lot of money from them.
Neelam Singh, who used to be a model and is now an actor, married Roy in 2003. They have two children: Aador, who is eleven, and Agasthya Bose Roy, who is nine. From his first marriage to Joanna, Roy also has an older daughter named Ona. He is the older brother of well-known TV actor Rohit Roy.

Even though his first movie, the romantic comedy Jaan Tere Naam (1992), did well at the box office, his early career was hampered by a string of flops. Before his current comeback, he was in a number of well-known movies, such as Army (1996), with Shah Rukh Khan and Sreedevi, and Kisna (2001), with Aamir Khan.
Roy’s acting career got a new start in 2010 when the movie Udaan came out. In the movie, he played the cruel, overbearing father of a 17-year-old son. Roy says that being on TV shows has brought new life to his work. In 2002, he played the friendly but slightly shady Rishabh Bajaj on the Balaji Telefilms show Kasauti Zindagii Kay. His performance got so many good reviews that the show’s creators decided to make him a regular cast member. Roy became well-known and financially stable in the small screen industry after starring in hit shows like Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi and Adaalat.
Ronit has been a contestant, judge, or host on a lot of nonfiction and reality TV shows. Roy was a special guest on the second season of Koffee with Karan. After that, he went on to host the cooking reality show Kitchen Champion and compete in the famous celebrity dance competition Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa, for which he was nominated for an Indian Telly Award in the Best Anchor category.
