Kunaal Roy Kapur was born to parents from Punjab on February 13, 1979. He was born in the Maharashtra state of Mumbai. His grandfather, Raghupat Roy Kapur, was a movie director who eventually moved to Mumbai. His parents are Salome Roy Kapur and Kumud Roy Kapur. In 1972, Salome took part in the Miss India contest.
Kunal is the middle brother of the three. His older brother Siddharth Roy Kapur is the president and chief executive officer of Roy Kapur Films and also makes movies. He is known for being an actor and for being married to the famous actress Vidya Balan. His younger brother, Bollywood actor Aditya Roy Kapur, is also well-known.
Kunal Roy Kapur Career
In 1996, Kunal made his acting debut as Sanjay on the TV show Just Mohabbat. Soon after, he was on another popular TV show called Mumbai Calling. After a few TV roles, he made his first movie appearance as Bura in Panga Na Lo.
His role in Abhinay Deo’s 2011 movie Delhi Belly made him well-known. He has worked on a lot of other popular movies, like Nautanki Saala (2013), Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani (2013), Action Jackson (2014), Azhar (2016), and Tribhanga (2021).
Deepika Padukone, Ranbir Kapoor, Ajay Devgan, Ayushman Khurana, and other actors and directors worked with Kunal. He played Milind in the 2022 movies Radhe Shyam and Adha Ishq, which were both directed by Radha Krishna Kumar and starred Prabhas and Pooja Hedge.
