Haripriya Early Life
Hariprriya was born on October 29, 1991, in the Indian city of Chikkaballapur. After she finished her schooling, she joined a Bharatanatyam dance school right away. She went to a prep high school in Bangalore, which is where her family ended up living.
Shruthi’s mother suggested that she change her name from Haripriya to Harriprriya in 2013, but she didn’t want to. She explained her choice by saying, “My mother asked me to change the spelling.”
Haripriya grew up in Chikkaballapur, where she also finished high school and learned Bharatanatyam. She moved to Bangalore with her family to finish her pre-university studies.
Haripriya Career
Haripriya has been in a number of shows already. The director of the Tulu movie Badi, Richard Castelino, picked her to be the main female character after seeing her in programme stills when she was a senior in high school. Manasugula Mathu Madhura, which came out in 2008, was her first Kannada movie. After that, she was in Vasanthakala. At the 2009 Filmfare Awards, she was nominated for Best Kannada Actress for her role in the political satire Kallara Santhe.
The next movie she made, Cheluveye Ninne Nodalu, was well received and helped make Haripriya a well-known name in Karnataka. In 2010, she made her first movies in Telugu and Tamil. Both, Thakita Thakita and Kanagavel Kaaka, were directed by Bhumika Chawla and did okay. After that, she worked on Tamil and Telugu films like Pilla Zamindar and Cheran’s Muran.
She went back to Kannada movies for the gangster movie Ugramm, which came out in 2014. The New Indian Express says that Haripriya gave “a strong performance” and that she is “natural in her act.” Reviewers said that her return to Kannada films was “sensational,” and the movie did well at the box office.
Sify says that what Ugramm did for Haripriya was “miraculous.” After that, more Kannada movies were offered to the actress.
After the success of Ugram, she became one of the most popular actresses in the Kannada film industry. She went on to star in movies like Ranna, Ricky, and the comedy Bullet Basya.
After the movie Neer Dose did well at the box office, she became one of the best-known heroines in Kannada films. After Neer Dose, she was asked to play many different kinds of roles. She played Haasini, a woman from North Karnataka, opposite Dhruva Sarja in Bharjari. This was her only movie role in 2017. Since they had worked together before on the movie Ranna, this was their second project.
