After she graduated from Delhi’s Loreto Convent School, she went to Lady Sriram College to study history as an undergraduate. After she got her degree, she signed up for a six-month course in fashion design at the National Institute of Fashion Technology. Gauri’s first film as a producer was “Main Hoon Na,” which came out in 2004. The movie did so well at the box office that it was the second-highest earner of the year. Gauri and her husband both own a company called Red Chillies Entertainment, which makes movies. She directed movies like “Happy New Year” and “Om Shanti Om” in the future.
